Alloy 347 is Columbian stabilized austenitic SS plates and sheets which offer excellent corrosion resistance properties. It offers better corrosion resistance compared to 321 alloys in strong oxidizing conditions. Stainless steel 347H plate has higher carbon content and provides higher strength at a temperature above 1000 F. The carbon content of alloy 347H enables dual certifications in most occurrences.
